IASG Professional Development
(Formerly The Fellowship Group)
Directly aligned to the main Society, IASG Professional Development (IASG PD) was formed (as The Fellowship Gp) in Glasgow in 1962 as a separate working party within IASG. IASG PD currently carries a unique profile as the only affiliate of its kind within the CII’s UK Local Institute network.
Over the years the PD has provided a communication platform for Fellows of the Institute through regular meetings, with the original objective of dissemination of subject matter that might prove of value to management and senior executives within the financial services industry locally.
However, in order to complement the wider educational role of the CII and IASG in the new Millennium, IASG PD has expanded its activities to accommodate the educational and CPD needs of the wider IASG Membership through implementation of the core annual educational lecture programme for the Society.
The recent change of name is designed to reflect the the new objectives of 'IASG Professional Development' and the main Society
